Clifden White Heather House is located in the heart of Clifden town, the Capital of Connemara along the Wild Atlantic Way.
This 5-bedroom self-catering holiday home sleeps up to 10 guests offering a home away from home experience. There is a large patio area perfect for dining al fresco or enjoying a glass of wine watching the sunset over Clifden Bay.
This vibrant town has an array of shops selling top-quality gifts, trinket souvenirs, and handmade knits to name a few!
The entrance hall leads you into the spacious and rustic living area where you will find a warm stove fire waiting for you. This room offers a Smart TV with Free to Air Channels and Netflix, 2, two seater leather couches, and two tables. There is carpet flooring throughout, oil-fired central heating, WiFi, and stunning views of Clifden Town and harbour on offer.
Step down into the bright and spacious kitchen which is fully equipped with the following: microwave, gas cooker, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, and separate washing machine and dryer. A serving hatch can be found here into the dining/living area.
The kitchen area leads onto a very large decked area which is ideal for dining al fresco or enjoying the sunset over Clifden Bay

White Heather is a brilliant 5 double+ bedroom house in the centre of Clifden. Every room has a small en suite and the beds and linen are good. Gerald the host is a great guy and local if you have a problem.

The house is perfectly located in the heart of Clifden town. We were a party of 6 people but it can easily accommodate a larger group up to 10. Ger has put a lot of time and effort into maintaining the house and it has all the appliances needed for asee more
The house is perfectly located in the heart of Clifden town. We were a party of 6 people but it can easily accommodate a larger group up to 10. Ger has put a lot of time and effort into maintaining the house and it has all the appliances needed for a comfortable stay and is very homely. All amenities are less than a minute walk away including a large SuperValu supermarket, pubs, restaurants, boutiques and many more shops. Clifden is a buzzing town with lots of activities and a fantastic base for anyone wanting to explore the wider Connemara region. We are already planning next year’s trip and will look forward to staying in Ger’s property again.

The house could do with some modernisation in parts but overall it’s well maintained and very centrally located in the town of Clifden. Ger was a great host and gave us some great advice on where to go and what to see in the town and Connemara peninssee more

Our 3 week experience staying at White Heather House was absolutely everything we had hoped for. Our host, Gerard King, was completely responsive to all our questions and needs. He was friendly and gracious. The location is as central to everythingsee more
Our 3 week experience staying at White Heather House was absolutely everything we had hoped for. Our host, Gerard King, was completely responsive to all our questions and needs. He was friendly and gracious. The location is as central to everything in Clifden as it gets, but it's not loud and, while on the back deck, it could be the countryside. There is plenty of room for a large group. The kitchen is updated, well equipped and everything works. There is plenty of hot water. The ensuite feature for every bedroom is a treat.
It's always a pleasure when expectations are met. Mr. King, White Heather House, Yvonne and Patricia made sure that was the case for us. Thank you... Nancy and Jon Fitch |
