Tiernee holiday home is a beautiful 3 bedroom bungalow with sea and mountain views

Layout

Entrance hallway leading to:

Sitting room with open fire, 3 x 2 seater couches, window overlooking the front of the house wooden floor.

Open plan kitchen, dining, seating area.

Fully fitted kitchen comprising of dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, toaster, electric oven, gas hob, dining table with sliding doors leading to patio area with beautiful sea views.

Seating area has 3x 1 reading seating, flat screen TV and window to side of the house.

Bedroom 1: King Bedroom with four poster bed.

Bedroom 2: King Bedroom with Sleigh bed

Bedroom 3: Triple room with Double and Single bed

Lettermore Village:
Lettermore Village has a welcoming pub and local convenience store

Leitir Mor na Coille (meaning Great Big Hillside Wood) is a peaceful village in the heart of the Gaeltacht region in South Connemara. The main language in the area is Irish, a perfect location for one who wishes to immerse themselves in the traditional language and culture of the Irish people and don’t be afraid about trying a “cupla focal”. The Lettermore-Lettermullen Peninsula is actually a series of small islands which are linked together by the R374 roadway.

Beaches:
Lovely sandy beaches and secluded coves can be found in the Lettermore region, all which are part of Irelands famous Wild Atlantic Way

Golfing
The Connemara Isles Golf Club is located in Lettermore. Why not enjoy a round of golf on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and relax in Ireland’s only thatched club house afterwards

Walking trails:
The Lettermore area is perfect for enjoying long, scenic, peaceful walks. One popular trail in the area is to beautiful exposed Golam Head from nearby Lettermullen. The scenery is breathtaking so don’t forget to take your camera

Hill Walking
For those interested in Hill Walking there are a number of hills and false summits in and around Letter more just waiting to be explored such as Leaca Donna, Knockaunateeskeal and Knocknasilloge

Horse Riding

No real Connemara experience would be complete without heading out on a pony trail among the beautiful local scenery; Moycullen Horse Riding Centre is 44kms from Lettermore and is well worth the visit

Lettmullen & Garumna Heritage Centre
The Heritage Centre is the perfect place to learn about the old Irish customs practiced in times past. There is no admission charge

Pearse’s Cottage
Why not take a trip to Pearse’s Cottage in Rosmuc and visit the famous holiday home of Irish revolutionary, Padraic Pearse

Standún Spiddal:
Standún is a unique family run store, based in Spiddal Village (30km from Lettermore) with a huge variety of Aran Sweaters, Irish products, Menswear, Ladies fashion, children’s clothing, Irish and International gifts and home ware and a cafe with home baking.

Spiddal Craft & Design studios:
This is a small complex of craft workshops with stunning views of Co Clare; where traditional craft demonstrations take place. Crafts include Hand weaving, Jewellery and Stained Glass making, Screen printing, and various forms of art, Traditional Basket Weaving and a Photographic Studio. It also has an onsite cafe, An Builin Blasta.

Island Hopping
Why not take a day trip to the Aran Islands? Rossaveel is only a 15 minute drive (13 kms) from Lettermore. There are various trips between Rossaveel harbour and the islands throughout the day. Exploring County Galway
Lettermore town is approximately is 48 Km from Galway city. There is a daily Bus Eireann service from Galway to Lettermullen Crossroads. Lettermore is approx a 1 hour drive from Clifden Town Centre. From Clifden you can take a trip to Cleggan Village and on to the beautiful Connemara National Park followed by walk around Kylemore Abbey and Garden. Other nearby areas to visit is Kilkieran, Cashel, Carna, Ballyconneely, Roundstone, Carraroe and Rossaveal, where you can take a ferry to the Aran Islands. All these routes take you along stunning coastal roads.

Linen & towels are inclusive in the rental rate.

Please note that €200 security deposit is required upon arrival.  As long as there are no breakages or damage to the property this will be refunded on departure.
