“We were a group of 8 adults and we agreed Capolla House was the best we have stayed in in Ireland so far. Maureen and her husband gave us the warmest welcome (many thanks for the goodies) and couldn’t do enough for us. They even provided us with a filter coffee machine. The house is so spacious that we didn’t feel at all cramped, has all mod cons, kitchen utensils perfect (saucepans big enough for a large group) . Lidl and Aldi are just round the corner, pubs and restaurants in the town centre just a short dander away and we also had the good luck to be there for the Clifden Arts Festival. We will definitely be back!! ” Friedhelm September 2017
“Four of us stayed in Capella House in Clifden. We were on a painting master clas for two weeks. It was a great experience staying here. The house could have easily accommodated many more. It has an amazingly well equipped kitchen. And so much room to relax in, both in good & bad weather. The owners are most welcoming, helpful and discreet.” Deirdre July 2017
“I stayed with a group at Capolla house, and found the house perfect for a get together. I did some baking and entertaining, the kitchen has everything you need (and a spotless oven), and the dining room is great for a group. The house is spotless, and overall very comfortable. It is a little walk from the town centre, which is a small negative if its very rainy.” Patsy June 2017
“I could only say positive things about our short stay at Capolla House in Clifden. 8 adults on a weekend break for a cycling event and everybody gave me 10 out of 10 for finding this house! So much room, good parking and within a short walking distance of town. The owners and Yvonne from Connemara Lettings could not have been more friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.” May 2017
“Perfect all round, a great stay, house was spacious and clean. Nice touch leaving biscuits, tea bags and milk on arrival.” Donald October 2016
“Very nice landlady and landlord. We very much appreciated the warm welcome with freshly made scones. The house suited us perfect as there were many bedrooms and we were a party of 7 friends” Strand September 2016
“My brother, my sister, myself and our families along with our parents stayed at Capolla House for a week so we had 8 Adults and 4 children. Each family had their own bedroom and bathroom and we still had loads of living space to spread out and do the different things we wanted to do – play area, dining room, sitting room and large kitchen with more dining space. The kitchen was really great and had everything you could need so we were able to eat in and do a couple of dinners for the entire family very comfortably. And like the entire house it was absolutely spotless and had plenty of towels, linen and pillows too. We very much enjoyed our stay at Capolla House and would highly recommend it.” Cummins August 2017
“Very clean property & large communal areas. Great for a large group/ family/ gathering of friends. Really helpful owners – on hand if there’s anything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped for self catering. Property is only a few minutes drive from Clifden or about 15 minute walk. Lovely view of woods from property in a quiet, tucked away location. We enjoyed our stay very much.” Sinead August 2016
“Very welcoming landlord and landlady, comfortable and very spacious house. Clifden is s a lovely town to be easily explored by foot, very friendly people who great you everywhere in the street. 25 min drive to kilmore castle or the smokehouse or roundstone. We had a relaxing week and despite the showery week a fantastic BBQ, joined cooking, playing games and many walks. Thank you.” W August 2015
“Capolla House is a large cottage ideally located; it is close to the village of Clifden (within walking distance) but far enough away that you do not feel crowded. It overlooks a lovely green, wooded area. The cottage is well maintained, very comfortable, and well equipped. We stayed for one month, during which time we had no issues or concerns with the cottage. The owners are nearby and were very welcoming and helpful. Connemara Lettings provided excellent customer service before, during, and after our stay. Our holiday was excellent!” Noelle June 2015
“had a brill weekend in capolla house. It was perfect for our 2 families. Very close to town but away from the hustle and bustle of Clifden. We had all the space we needed and comforts we needed.
