“We absolutely loved our stay. The views were incredible, the house was clean and comfortable, and our hosts Maureen and Bernard were friendly, accomodating, and easily accessible. Perfect home base for exploring the area, can’t wait to come back.” – Michael March 2023
“We had a wonderful week in Baybridge House. The house and the location are incredible. You feel cut off from the world completely yet Clifden is only a few minutes drive away or a 4km walk. We walked in and out from the town regularly although not advisable with children. The availability of restaurants in Clifden is wonderful and there is an abundance of things to do nearby. We had a day at the Delphi adventure centre, we climbed Diamond Hill in the Connemara national park, horse riding along the beach in Ballyconeely and a few beach days in Dogs Bay and Manin Bay. Maureen was a great host and always available although we really didn’t want for anything. The house itself is first class, the views from every room are simply breathtaking. We would love to visit again.”- Susan August 2021
“LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Beautiful setting, wonderful views and large open living area. Great area to visit with lots to see and do! Clifden is charming. Returning home to Maureen’s lovely place was the perfect ending to our fun filled days!”-Maggie June 2019
“Very very nice house, large, well equipped but most of all very well designed with those Exceptional windows. A rare view on the sea. I would very strongly recommend if you want to stay near Clifden for a night…or a week!”-Thierry May 2019
“We had the honor to stay at this place for 9 days and it was one of the best places in my life. Located on a hilltop one can enjoy the sunset. The house has large windows up to 2,5 m, so every time you have breakfast or relax in the living room, you can enjoy the amazingf view. The owners are super nice and help you with any request. The house is brand new! The house is surrounded by fields, so with a little luck you’ll see sheep or rabbits passing by. It’s the perfect place to relax or visit the amazing Connemara National Park.”- Ulrich May 2019
“A Grandiose House! The house is fantastically located on a hill with nearly 360 degree panoramic view of the sea and mountains. It is large, spacious and well furnished, tasteful and functional at the same time. Not to be outdone!” Dieter April 2019
