Testimonials

“Good location Grainne was very helpful House great Good video collection wifi excellent Beds comfortable” August 2017

“Very good all round and lovely hospitality from grainne simon and yvonne we love clifden glen and when the houses are done up they are super” August 2017

“Very very good indeed. There are 2 good size bedrooms that can accommodate 2 adults +1 kid in each easily. The house is refurbished and very clean with all mod cons – very good 100MB wi-fi. The site has a small bar during the Summer, tennis courts, crazy golf and a very small kids playground. Main weakness with the house is that there is only 1 bathroom but that is a small consideration given the good location. Clifden Kennels (Simon) is very nearby if you are bringing your dog. The site is about 2Km from Clifden town with LIDL and ALDI and a garage nearby. You could walk it but it is really a drive (In Connemara you will need a car). Cleggan is about 20 mins, Connemara Park 25 mins, Kylemore Abbey, 35 mins, Killary and then Delphi adventure resorts 40 and 50 mins. To the south Dogs Beach near roundstone is pristine and about 40 mins drive. Ferry to Inishboffin Island out of Cleggan was a great day out (about 30 mins on the ferry). Oughterard about 40 mins away (the old ‘mine’ tour was an interesting thing to do on a rainy day). Galway City about an hour away. Excellent hosts, excellent house. Would gladly return. RAY from Dublin” July 2017
