Reasons to visit Connemara in the autumn
Here’s a short and sweet blog post on why you MUST visit Connemara this Autumn (or also known by our American friends as Fall)…..
Reasons to visit Connemara in the autumn!
- Festivals – Connemara is very busy with different festivals during the months of September and October; Clifden Arts Festival, Connemara Sea Week, The Autumn 4 Seasons Walking Festival, The Leenane Autumnal Festival but to name a few! You will definitely find one you must attend!
- Challenges – For all you thrill seekers and fitness fans, the autumn season in Connemara will keep you busy! The Rough Diamond challenge, Bike to Boffin and The Marconi Half Marathon are all taking place in Connemara over the autumn season!
- Off Season = Cheaper! – It is a well known fact that it is cheaper to go on holiday during the quieter months. The cost of flights drop considerably and we here at Connemara Lettings have some fantastic Off Peak offers; which means you can splash out on other parts of your holiday such as shopping and dining out!
- Peace & Quiet – The roads are far less congested, the children are in school, the queues are shorter and the restaurants are quieter, what’s not to love! This is the way Connemara should be enjoyed!
- Autumn Magic – There is something magical about Connemara in the autumn. The change in the foliage, the rugged scenery, crisp October mornings, blackberry picking & warm soda bread…..Connemara is beautiful whatever the season, not just during the summer!
- It’s romantic as hell! – A long weekend away in Connemara is the ideal couple’s getaway, especially in the autumn months. Don’t believe me, picture long walks in boots & coats, a hearty brunch in the local eateries, hot whiskeys and cosy nights beside a turf fire……
- You need a break! – The summer is over; it’s 3 months until Christmas; why not book a little getaway in the mean time? Go on, you deserve it!
